By the moon

Day begins at sundown
when you follow the moon.

Pears from a friend

fill my cauldron.

My boil, bubble, toil and trouble
will have to come from the tea kettle this year.

Boo!
Time to carve the Jack-o-lantern.
Halloween is almost here.

The anticipation seems to be building...I'm not sure whether to be afraid of or attracted to the orange hot chocolate - I mean I like hot chocolate and if it is orange colored it would be festive...but orange flavor ummm (those chocolate Christmas oranges don't disappear quickly here).

Almost here. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, fires burn and cauldrons bubble.
I'll have some orange hot chocolate! Sounds delicious to me.

Orange hot chocolate, sounds good. Had to play catch up with your blogs. Lost power yesterday, thanxs to 8 inches of snow!

Looks like you're really getting into the spirit of Halloween, Sherry!
I'm glad to know there's hot chocolate in your caudron and not "eye of newt"!

Dear Lisa,
~BOO!~
Halloween is so much fun. I am answering the door this evening as the trick-or-treaters come. It is an ancient way of celebrating.
I love it.

Dear Chris,
The orange co-co may not be for you! I like it stirred into my coffee, a strange combo but I think tasty. You may like the pumpkin crumb soul cakes I serve.
I enjoy Halloween more than any other holiday. It is all fun to me!
May you have lots of treats.

Dear Wendy,
I am dressing as a witch this year... as I have always done.
Co-co, cider, apples, pears and soul cakes are on the snack table.
My copper Jack-o-lantern is overflowing with treats.
I am ready.

Dear Cathy,
Oh my goodness!!! 8 inches of snow is way too much snow in October....hope you are okay and not too much damage to trees.
Happy Halloween,
Sherry

Dear Cheryl,
Each day I try to do something fun. October is a month just filled with opportunities too.
When I found the grave marker with 28 days written on the back I was shocked. The person had lived many years. I took it to mean this person followed the moon, like I do.
I felt a connection. In so many ways we are all connected not only with those walking the good red road today but those that went before.
We are one.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Rose,
All the newts are safe with me...
as are bats and spiders.
I only stir up trouble!
