My dogwood is full of red berries, and its red leaves are dropping to cover the green hedge beneath it. I always have to pause when I'm by the window which looks out over the dogwood. You can't take such beauty for granted.
Dear ICQB, The dogwoods are lovely trees. I have two that I have grown from tiny little saplings. Watching them become mature trees has been one of the many joys of living in the same garden for over thirty years. I am also delighted by the birds that nest in the branches and those that feed on the berries. Sherry
Dear Mary, Thanks. I took a few more pictures of the Robins today eating Dogwood berries. The lighting was different today. I love that about nature, each day is a wee bit different. Sherry
