Sitting with mums

I sat with some of the mums this morning.

My October 2nd daytime activity.

Tonight I will turn the outside lights on.

Mornings are cool and afternoons warm;
perfect October days.

The colors in these photos are so vibrant. I'll bet all the little beings are reluctant to leave your beautiful sanctuary. Thanks for showing us their world.
Garden-fresh tomatoes; so yummy!
Have a great week.

Dear Wendy,
We like cheese on our tomato sandwiches too. I sometimes will use hummus as a spread on our toasted bread and I add fresh spinach...I am getting hungry.

Dear Vikki,
I think the weather has been so warm this month the bugs are wondering what is going on!
It is hard for me to say goodbye. I hope they stick around until November.
Thank you for your kind support.
Hugs,
Sherry

Great pictures! Number two is a very special snapshot. Eye to eye with...? Was it a sort of grasshopper you took the picture of??

Dear Barbara,
Thank you!
That second picture is of a Praying Mantis.
I have lots of them this year in the gardens. I think they are amazing bugs.
