ABC Wednesday

W is for wool.

I am warm
wrapped in my woven wool blanket

on Winter Solstice

while outside watching the Wrens.

I thought of the Wrenboys of olden times.

and Wassail. W is for whistle.

When I add water I tweet a warble to the birds.

I whistle while I work.
W is for wood pile

and wall.

W is for Wooden shoes.

I have a collection.

W is for the wind, whispering in the Winter trees.
Wisps of clouds wash the skies.

A winter storm is coming in.

I shall walk once again in a Winter Wonderland.

W is for worm.
I am a book worm.

W is for watching and waiting.

W is for Wishes.

When I blow out the candles I make a wish.

Happy ABC Wednesday.
Wishing you and yours the Happiest of Holidays.
