Cemetry Walk

We pulled our boots and caps on.
We went for a walk in the cemetery.

That was lots of fun!

Love that Flicker shot. That spot of yellow just screams happiness to me. Wow you do have a lot of snow.

Sherry, I had completely forgotten all the weather reports that you were going to have that big storm!! It certainly looks as though you survived! By the time got to Southern Ontario, it was heavy rain for about 12 hours, but Ottawa had an ice storm. I will post photos, once I finish editing...

What a co-incidence - we went for a walk in a cemetery on Sunday as well - we live near Madingley (the only American cemetery in the UK) and often walk there - it's a very peaceful place, with pretty gardens and a lovely view over the fields. Our snow has mostly cleared now (I don't think we had as much as you did!) but the cemetery was still very icy, with notices as the entrances which said "enter at your own risk"! The ponds in the gardens were frozen solid. I was too cold to stop and take photos, though - I shall just have to enjoy yours instead.

Wonderful snow photos, Sherry. Although much of the UK was covered this Christmas when had no snow here. I enjoyed looking at your snowy photos and your winter birds.

I wouldn't have thought of walking in a cemetery in the winter, but this one looks like a lovely place, full of beauty. Hope you are staying warm!
