St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I am celebrating indoors.

Rain is keeping me out of the garden.
Too muddy to plant potatoes.

I am enjoying silence.
I am enjoying the rain.

My books entertain me.

Every March I read folktales of Ireland.

I am fascinated.

This is a rich culture.

Books lay open for quick reads.
I walk by and read a page or two.

I keep a readers journal.
I often refer to my notes.

Every year I try to learn a new skill.

Each month there are different motifs,
different special days.

This March I read about the Irish in America.

I am in love with words.

I wish you a
"Top O' The Mornin" and
a song for your heart.

May you know the beauty of the
Shamrock.
May you hear the ringing of the Fairy bells.

Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Happy wearing of the green.

My dear Sherry, such a pretty post. I have visited the emerald isle many times. It is most beautiful and the people so kind. I loved the food too!!

It is indeed good to read. I am reading about magical herbs at the moment.....it is working beautifully with the book you so kindly sent me. I am looking at my gardens with new eyes.......

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you.......
