It was beautiful. Now the heat is on!
I saw a Baltimore Oriole the other day on the wire. He did not go for jelly or orange slices. I was thinking he came to say, "goodbye" until next year. Now that it is heating up I think maybe he was going on north? I wish I knew more about the life of all the birds that come to visit. I read and read and read some more. You know so much about them! All I do is put platters of food out and take pictures!
Our Cardinals are also nesting again. The little ones are very cute!
Happy July,
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-20421365551774733782008-07-01T18:13:00.000-05:002008-07-01T18:13:00.000-05:00It is fairly warm here too today. They just sit there and curl up in the heat.

We have our second nest of Cardinals going now. They are too high in a tree for a decent picture this time. I will have to wait until the young fledge then maybe I will get a picture.Lisa at Greenbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.com
