This must have been a fascinating place to visit, not to mention a moving experience. More and more I am drawn to the wisdom of Native Americans; we can learn so much from them.

We have been enjoying Indian summer, too. I've seen a few butterflies, but the bees seem to have left for the season. I haven't seen any juncos or chickadees yet, but I filled all the bird feeders today to make sure they're ready for them.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-15805196810951343612009-11-08T18:32:08.935-06:002009-11-08T18:32:08.935-06:00I love how you've captured the light shining t...I love how you've captured the light shining through the squirrel's tail, and through the autumn leaves. I too am drawn to pics where the light is shining through flowers, leaves and trees. I never thought about it before, but this November light must be special. Perhaps it's the low sun in the sky. I don't know.

I have great respect for the Medicine Wheel, having studied it a while ago. This was in a classroom. You are fortunate to have one close to you, outside in the open air. What an exciting month this has turned out to be!
