German Pink Tomato

The rain stopped for a few minutes so I went out to check the gardens. Much to my surprise I saw a glimpse of red in one of the tomato houses. First tomato of the season. It is on the German Pink Tomato transplants I bought from Seed Savers Exchange.
We will have sliced tomato with supper. Mom rabbit came for the apple pieces today.

    It was tasty! Now we are looking every day for ripe ones. When the flush comes I will be putting them up for Winter. Hope to have plenty to share too.
