Dear Sprite, After seeing the double rainbow I was in sky awe! As the Cumulonibus Mamma clouds were touched by the setting sun I continued to be awed! I wondered what Mother Nature would do as her encore. As I gazed upward the Snow Geese came into view. I had seen a flock high in the early evening sky pass the crecent moon the other night. I knew Spring was here. I was out without the camera at that time. To have photos of the Spring Migration is wonderful to me. I thought of how I have longed for spring and how those who live North of me are also longing for sweet smells and warmer weather. The geese remind me we are all connected. Although I no longer write with a quill pen I am grateful for the Goose. As I watched the geese migrating north I felt the call of the quest. I remembered my favorite childhood fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. I am awake now and ready for the next tale. It is fun and exciting to be writing with pictures. ~Q~
Dear Chris, I so hope you are feeling better. Being down is no fun! If one of today's photos brought you cheer than they did their job. I send wellness on the beams of the sunrise. ~Q~
Thank you for taking such good care of our geese! They are a joy to watch especially crossing the street with their young waddling behind in a straight line - I hope to have my camera handy this year when I spot them so I can post a pic.
Hi Deb, You are so welcome! The migrating geese are a sure sign of Fall and Spring. Seeing the goslings and their mother must be a wonderful site. I too am hoping you can get a photo. Spring is on it's way. The geese will need to stop for food and water and some sleep but they will be back soon. "Honk-honk-honk" ~Q~
