Dear Chris, I have a few old plants and in different colors. The red is always the first to bloom. It was severely nipped. I do not know yet if it will pull out. Right now it looks dead. The purple, white and pinks are just now blooming. Mr. Bumbles and I went for our walk about and he was waylaid at the purple azaleas! I went on without him. He caught up later when I went back to the deck. Glad to know the azaleas are doing well in your English Garden! Sherry
I do love the azaleas. We are also lucky here that our soil loves them too! The colours are so vibrant. Great pics :-)
