We rode back up to the parking lot
where we saw them this morning.
I sat quietly.
Hoping to get to know them.
I think she just wanted me to go home.
She has little ones.

I was intruding.
There are plenty of good bugs here for her and her little ones.
If she needs water I have plenty.
I am only a stone's throw away.

How do you get a bird in flight like that???? You are a wonderful photographer. I know, I've said that before.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I did teamwork for that photo!
He wanted a Killdeer in flight and since she was really wanting us to leave it was a matter of getting close to her so she would fly. We did a few trials before the photo was in focus!
Hawks are easier!
