Chorus of Spirits

  1. I came by earlier and was afraid it wasn't Friday after all! This clip is spectacular! I'm curious about the narrative - both voice and words.
    Great treat, as always...

  2. Dear Sue,
I came home from my road trip very late last night. I slept in this morning!
The poem is "Chorus of Spirits"
    by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
It is read by Prunella Scales.
I wanted to do something "spirit" for Halloween and I thought this captured the way I see the world.
I am so happy you enjoyed this. My photos this past week were mostly about autumn color. I think our earth is paradise.

    Dear Sherry,

This is fantastic! I really enjoy the "Chorus of Spirits" poem. Wow! The photographs are remarkably colorful. What a great way to set Halloween week into motion.

I think I'll light a candle, turn off the lights, then listen and watch it again....

    Oooooo OOOOoooo OOoooooooo.

    Boo!

  6. Dear Sprite,
BOO! I love the spirit world. I know you do too. OOOOoooo....AAAAaaaa....!
Heaven is on Earth when we see it...when we give our love towards nature...when we care for her.
So glad you liked this. I was hoping the poem would be a fun experience. The trees are in peak color. Looks as if 1st frost will be tonight. As we walk towards Halloween we will be walking under a canopy of color.
I would like to photograph the veil between the worlds...
So happy you enjoyed this. I sort of stepped out of my normal slide show....

  7. Dear Sue,
This reading is from Prometheus Unbound. Act IV. Percy Bysshe Shelley
I was rather unclear about the source of this stanza.

  11. Dear Sheila,
This was fun! I was uncertain if the reading would come across okay. Glad it did.
I wonder why last week's slide show would not play for you???
Blogger sometimes has trouble. I have a friend who tells me when communications are messed up it is Mercury in retrograde. I normally think whenever I have trouble it is due to sun spots!
Try again, maybe Slide Show Spirits will make it happen!

  14. Sherry, your artistic talent shows in this video. The voice is haunting, in a way...perfect for Halloween spirits. Just glorious for Autumn!

  15. Dear Mary,
    Blush-blush...
    Thank you!
I liked the echoing, multi-spirit, voice too. The poem worked. I do see Mother Nature through the eyes of love.
