Cinco de Mayo

Today I celebrate the traditions and the heritage
of Mexico.

I know very little about the history and the customs of the Mexican people.

I am beginning to learn a little.

I am listening to a mariachi band as I do my morning chores.
I am learning about their instruments, the guitarron and the vihuela.
I am learning about corridos, the Mexican folk song.


Today as I care for the birds and the butterflies I will wear my sombrero.

    It is fun to read about other cultures and to celebrate their heritage.
