Dear Jayne, I am a storm watcher. One of these days I would love to be a storm chaser...well maybe not...maybe it just sounds exciting. I probly would take shelter the minute a hook echo was seen on radar. I have never actually seen a tornado. Lots and lots of wall clouds. Sherry
Dear Mary, We had had many, many thunderstorms this spring. I know you are dry and I am wet...climate change...trade you five inches of rain for a pair of Zebra Swallowtails! Is it a deal??? LOL Sherry
Dear Cheryl, The gardens are very wet. My soils do drain nicely but before I do any more weeding I think they need to dry out. So hard on the soils to work with them when they are wet. Thanks for the snuggle. I actually needed a sweater outside. Sherry
Dear Lisa, We have had a break from the rains, thank goodness. Things are starting to dry up a little bit. I hope to get out and do some weeding this afternoon. The weeds are "as high as an elephant's eye", lol.. Thank you for the folk lore. I love this one. Sherry
Glorious sky! Surely the weather shifts and changes. Spring didn't come this year and we've had only a couple of days of sun and semi-warm. Lots of flooding around here, too. Be well and happy!
Dear Sue, No spring?? A crazy world when spring fails to come. Last year when my spring was frozen my daughter offered hers. This was a true gift of love. I hope some spring finds you and the flood waters depart. Hugs and lavender tea, Sherry
