  5. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Your birds are so brightly coloured against the snow or tree branches.
That saucy squirrel looks like he's getting ready to throw snowballs at us! LOL!

Nice music. It sounds similar to another piece of music called "Ode to Joy" . Beautiful!

  11. Dear Sue,
George Winston does a great job setting the mood.
I watched the slide shows I did last December and I see I have about the same birds. Although this year Mockingbird is not around. I think the Jays or the Robins ran him off. I hope he finds his way back to me. I do enjoy his friendship.

  12. Dear Wendy,
I am so tickled you enjoyed this slide show. This rendition of "Joy" could be "Ode to Joy" it says on the cd it is in the public domain.

  16. Dear Grammy,
The last bird is a Tufted Titmouse. There is a pair that comes to the feeders. I think they are very darling birds.
The sun is out this morning but the wind is blowing...I want to be out withthe birds but I might wait until it warms up a bit more. There is a Red Breasted Nut Hatch zipping about. I would love to get a few photographs!
Thank you for coming by and enjoying the slide shows.

  21. Sherry,

Your birds are beautiful. Really, they are more beautiful at your house.

I wonder...I picture you sitting on the deck wrapped in a blanket and felt hat. Are the birds landing right in front of you on the deck rails? If so, it's very magical!

    I loved this slideshow.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  25. Dear Mary,
As a matter of fact, I am sitting on my deck wrapped in my boiled wool blanket with one of my new felted hats on when the birds come. I usually have a cup of tea or coffee. The birds come to the deck railings and say "good morning." They get their breakfast and go on. Sometimes one will stay and sing a song.
For the most part the birds will come and go all day long. I feed them around 9 am and again in the evening. If they need something one will tap on the back windows or come to the widow sill at my office window. I have seen the woodpeckers come to the kitchen windows when the suet is gone.
    They know where I am!
Today, since it was so cold and snowy, I had to sit inside and watch out of the back door. I still have a cold.
It was nice to see so many birds, I would say there was over a hunred today...
    They are magical.
