Owen's Day

2/28/98
Owen's Day

His memorial tree is just across the street.
I watch it grow.

I refilled the feeders and set out some dried fruit.

I bundled up and sat with the birds.

It is time to pack up February.
It has been a fine month.

  3. February was a fine month indeed. And as it is over today, we can now officially celebrate spring. It is almost a month till we have real spring here but I feel its coming already. Sun shows up more frequently and birds started singing in the forest! I see you have lots of wonderful birds in the garden too. Lucky ones I must add as they don't have to search for food covered with snow - yummies wait for them served )

  11. Ah Sherry, his tree is lovely. First visit to your site and I couldn't help but dig deeper for the history behind this post. My heart aches for such a loss. I'll hold my little guy a little closer and longer knowing your story.

There are many Cardinlas at the feeders. When it snows the deck just fills with birds.
