while I was outside counting birds this afternoon.
Our time at Aransas Wildlife Refuge was incredible.
I am thinking about our next trip.
We plan on visiting Portland, Oregon in March.
I put some dried cranberries out this morning.
The Robins do enjoy them.
I have my count ready to post.
No Sandhill Cranes in my backyard.

Lucky you to be traveling to Oregon next month! I hope you bring back some happy pics for us to see.
ReplyDeleteThat robin looks like he's enjoying that cranberry. I put some oranges and apples out for the birds, but they froze. Will have to wait til it warms up a bit more!
Stunning photos and I hope one day to see these great birds again!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the Sandhill Cranes is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI love the others as well, but the first is my favourite.
- Cheers Gisela.
I am enjoying all the photos! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos! Dropping by to say that I posted 3 new poems. Enjoy!

such great shots. we used to have sandhill cranes that lived in our neighbourhood when we lived in florida. they are fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteseeing your robin eating cranberries is so cool.
You could always watch for flyovers of Sandhills during migration Sherry. That would be exciting to see. I bet all your backyard birds are glad the restaurant is once again open.
ReplyDeleteNice photos Sherry!
ReplyDeleteI put out dried cranberries, dried cherries and raisins and the Robins love them.
Thanks for stopping by my site.
