Another wild area became houses a few years ago and I think food is scarce for the Hawks. Lots of sparrows around the feeders and bushes. I do not intervene either. Coop needs to eat too. I would put out a little something for him but we are vegetarians. No turkey carcasses at my house!
They are beautiful birds.
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-16560893382704894942008-01-12T08:21:00.000-06:002008-01-12T08:21:00.000-06:00Great photos up close and personal of the Coopers ...Great photos up close and personal of the Coopers Hawk in this and the last post! One sits on my fence daily watching the little ones feed at the feeders...I dare NOT interfere as you know what happens..pickins must be scarce in my area for these hawks...too too much developement!!!
too bad NGNaturegirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00177418253271097079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-37896214669217789982008-01-12T08:00:00.000-06:002008-01-12T08:00:00.000-06:00Dear Gisela,They are wonderful birds.
