Lovely photos as always and what a joy to see the butterflies especially your beautiful Monarchs.

I was thrilled to see the photo of the picture of the fairy kissing the little mouse and the accompanying poem. I have a little (about 3 inches by 5) book which I treasure and has lived with me since childhood which contains that poem and picture and also has the picture on the front cover. It is called 'A Little Book of Rhymes New and Old containing poems collected and illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker. I love it as much now as I did then :-)

Thank you Sherry, a delightful post to brighten another miserable day here!

Happy, Happy May to you :-)ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-5890296695991209482012-05-02T07:45:14.638-05:002012-05-02T07:45:14.638-05:00I love the poem, Sherry; the fairy reminds me of y...I love the poem, Sherry; the fairy reminds me of you with her reverence of nature and kindness towards all creatures. We need more fairies in this world!

A lovely celebration of May; Mother Nature celebrated the first of May here yesterday with quite a display of power--rainshowers and then a scary afternoon with tornadoes overhead. But the sun is shining today, and the garden is full of butterflies. We both believe that everything has a right to be free, live its life......

Your gardens are a treasure.
I love to see your visitors.....
I like the cat bird.....he is just so cute.

We had a sunny day yesterday but now we expect more rain.
The birds are struggling to feed their young. It is a very harsh Spring.Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14802468583972118464noreply@blogger.com
