I keep peaking at the one in back thinking I will see butterflies or Hummingbirds!
White flowers are my favorite and are difficult for me to photograph. They are so bright that I have a tendancy to over expose most shots.
Thanks! I "worked" to take the Snowball photo.
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-64263649892097289452007-05-01T20:29:00.000-05:002007-05-01T20:29:00.000-05:00Dear Sheila,The Lupine do have a peppery scent! I had a new plant for Easter and it is rather forlorn. I have been giving it a cup of weak coffee every so often, maybe it will perk up soon. I shall plant it in the garden this week and begin a coffee grind and egg shell mulch. The cold snap was hard on the hydrangeas all over the city.
I have an idea for a house warming gift!!
Aunt Q!Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-82688098322334280992007-05-01T08:28:00.000-05:002007-05-01T08:28:00.000-05:00I love that Snowball!! Th...Dear Chris,
Thank you for enjoying the pictures. The snowball Bush or Viburnum Opulus, is different from the Hydrangea. The Snowball gets very big, 10-12 feet, and has lovely berries in the winter. According to what I read, the Cedar Waxwings enjoy the berries in the Winter. I do hope it sets berries this year. Not very many blooms but some!
I also have great hopes that the plants will all come back!
Maybe Spring will pop back in after these last couple of Summer days. Crazy weather!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-63039295101594130992007-04-30T14:39:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:39:00.000-05:00Hello Q.
