I am looking forward to Fall, but will miss the hummingbirds and everything you have mentioned. Makes me sad! Thanks for sharing the beauty!! There were four beaver working dilligently, with efficiancy and grace. They were so cute, but when they saw us they smacked the water with their tails to warn each other. Sounded almost like a gunshot. The biggest one just glared at us before slipping under the water to safety. We saw a dozen draggon flies and some ducks. It was great!

Have a good day, Sherry.

Love, Vikki.kkrynohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07727264476742817993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-38091327264226440512010-08-26T08:27:14.129-05:002010-08-26T08:27:14.129-05:00So, so beautiful! Your photos of the little Blue are amazing--they are so tiny that I have yet to get one photo of them that isn't blurry.

I haven't resorted to long sleeves yet, but am so enjoying the cooler temperatures. I do feel a hint of autumn in the air. One of the hummingbirds flew up to me yesterday as I sat on the porch swing--almost in my face. I was hoping he wasn't saying goodbye for the year:)Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-51760808650365054312010-08-26T07:46:10.814-05:002010-08-26T07:46:10.814-05:00Gorgeous photos! I'm amazed when people are actually able to capture them with a camera.

One minor correction: Your dragonfly is a damselfly. Dragonflies have wider bodies where damselflies are very narrow. Also, damselflies tend to rest with their wings up and dragonflies rest with them out. Both are so beautiful to watch!Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08483309441288822407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-46575484576585425582010-08-26T01:02:14.258-05:002010-08-26T01:02:14.258-05:00Dear Sherry.....I to wore long sleeves yesterday. ...Dear Sherry.....I to wore long sleeves yesterday.
Your photographs brought tears to my eyes.....so many creatures showing themselves on your pretty flowers. I love autumn, my favourite season but it always makes my heart ache a little.
I found several dead bees in the gardens this morning. They had been caught in the torrential rain that we are having at the moment.
I lifted each one and put them in my glass bureau.

I have noticed other comments and I agree but to be truthful all your posts touch me in some way, they always have....tku for the journey my friend, always a pleasure to enter your world.Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14802468583972118464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-34876418006023955112010-08-25T20:17:54.184-05:002010-08-25T20:17:54.184-05:00I've seen plenty of dragonflies these days, no...I've seen plenty of dragonflies these days, not so many butterflies or bees.
