I woke with normal energy and I am having a cup of coffee! It seems to be sitting on my tummy just fine. If coffee sits fine than maybe I am well???!!
It seems as if I have been sick for so long. This virus just zapped me.
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-65845526845147618552008-04-14T07:36:00.000-05:002008-04-14T07:36:00.000-05:00Dear Chris,I will show when I make a bee box. When I did some research and learned they were native to North America I was very excited! Being able to keep Mason bees is wonderful. The Honey Bee is really from Europe! Not native to my area.
I have been reading about honey as well as the honey bee. Such a fascinating history.
I am feeling much better this morning. I hope this means the virus is over. It was a stomach virus of some sort. I could not eat anything with out getting terrible pains.
The sun is shining and I think it is to warm up this week. I really need warmer days! I would love to get a few walks in. Maybe even see a bee dance or two!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-18319974547674758932008-04-14T07:27:00.000-05:002008-04-14T07:27:00.000-05:00Dear Mary,The bees are very wonderful. I bought a dish garden for my deck yesterday, just in case I have a Bumble Bee emerge before I have flowers. Last year I had a bumble bee friend, Mr. Bumbles.
My husband was reading last night that Honey Bees can recognize human faces. I know Mr. Bumbles knew me!
I also enjoy photographing the bees. For the most part they do not care if I am about or not!
Yeah for bees!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-69834447649779042482008-04-14T07:21:00.000-05:002008-04-14T07:21:00.000-05:00Dear Mel,Bee Awareness! The Bee Journal will just be about the bees! Your Mason bees will be out soon!
My box is up so I hope to begin the process. I also have requested lots of books from our library about bees and basic bee keeping.

While walking I took a few honey bee photos. I liked this one because it showed a wee bit of Bee personality! No Bumble Bees yet. Just too cold I expect.
Bee watching is as fun as bird and butterfly watching!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-91315505292706730872008-04-10T07:42:00.000-05:002008-04-10T07:42:00.000-05:00Oh you have wild violets already!
