Some springs are so fleeting they seem to zip right past me. This year we had winter, spring, winter, spring, summer!
I enjoyed your post on your Butterfly House visit. I love the butterflies!! I wrote the location down for the next time we venture East. I can see there are many spots on the eastern half of our state I would enjoy. I might do a week vacation right here in sweet Missouri!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-82605964973198360862007-04-30T14:55:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:55:00.000-05:00Dear Mary,Thank you! Thank goodness for the birds.
I do not care for much sweating, a wee bit goes a long way for me. I also do not like to be cold! I seem to function best in the 60-70's degrees. Once 80 degrees comes, I have a tendancy to melt. The sun seems hotter. Not sure if that is because I am older and I remember me as a 30 year old or if the sun is indeed hotter!
I also will try to celebrate this day, as it is, the breeze is welcomed!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-54590329097138025532007-04-30T14:44:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:44:00.000-05:00Hi Sheila,It is a pretty pink! I am glad it is doing so well.
It is too warm for the last day of April! More like the end of May normally. Our weather has been strange this year.
I want to wait as long as I am able to turn the air conditioner on. If I can not sleep at night the ac goes on! The Mocking Birds have been singing during the night, maybe I will put a pillow on the deck and sleep outside!
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-5543229233934038822007-04-30T14:38:00.000-05:002007-04-30T14:38:00.000-05:00Hi Tumblewords,The way spring was nipped was heart...Hi Tumblewords,
The way spring was nipped was heartbreaking! Hope you have a gentle warm up! I have not done the e-book yet. My son-not-in-law might be able to help me. I would like to be sure and archive.
Thanks so much for checking on me. I have been rather "down" since the bitter cold. I do find my spirits are lifting as flowers are once again available for the butterflies and the bees.
I worry so much about all the critters. Some I can care for others I can only send my well wishes to.
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-63407339916065938882007-04-30T09:17:00.000-05:002007-04-30T09:17:00.000-05:00Hi SherryIsn't that the way it always goes in Miss...Hi Sherry

Isn't that the way it always goes in Missouri? Seems we always have an abbreviated spring.

We visited the Butterfly House, Saturday. That's a treat I always enjoy! It was a breezy day, that felt so good.

Pat
Back Porch MusingsPAThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12891387278850772808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-40616883896817937562007-04-29T22:29:00.000-05:002007-04-29T22:29:00.000-05:00Your eye for art is incredible. But I'll take the warmth and love it anyway.

Lovely post, Sherry.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02040099513110890878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-21106874869668483712007-04-29T18:34:00.000-05:002007-04-29T18:34:00.000-05:00Love that shade of pink...Summer is acoming in...?...Love that shade of pink...
Summer is acoming in...?Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06731396546695910306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27765182.post-10426832322549519232007-04-29T15:14:00.000-05:002007-04-29T15:14:00.000-05:00Gosh, what a leap!
