Just Wait

I went on a garden tour with my friend the Bumble Bee.
We looked at the flowers that had been downed by the ice and the snow.
They are rebounding.

The peonies have stood back up. We will wait and see if they bloom.

I will not bother the daffodils or the tulips.
I will leave the browned tips of the Lilacs.
I will wait.
Spring returned.

Bee~lieve me I love to photograph them too! We are cut from the same cloth!
EVERYONE should plant blossoms to encourage our little ~B~e~e~!
Peonies are just poking their tips out of the frozen earth here!

Dear Naturegirl,
We are!!!
Mr. Bumbles tells my story of Spring the best!
Yes, everyone needs to plant for the bees. They are in need. Too many sterile plants out there!
I so hope the peonies are okay. The bitter cold was hard on many of the plants. I do not know about the lilies.
Hopefully when your Spring does come it can go through its entire bloom time.
We will just continue to be good stewards!
I am so happy to know you.

I am so glad your spring has returned :-) I'm sure your plants will survive and your peonies will flower. Stay positive!

Sherry, your bee photos are so good! I've been trying to catch them in flight but the winds have been terrible for over a week. I'll keep trying.

Hi Chris,
I do THINK spring has returned! At least it is warm like spring. I will leave everything for a few weeks and see. Some of the grow tips are black and some have turned to mush. My greatest concern is for the trees and bushes. Many of them had begun to leaf out and now those leaves are brown.
I am trying to stay postive! I do find as I tour the gardens my heart sinks at the sight of mushy and downed perennials. The bleeding hearts are gone! Maybe they will return next year.

Hi Mary,
Don't give up! It is exciting to catch then in flight. I find if I sit quietly they will come to me.
I do talk with the bees!
