When I was a little girl my Mother had a box filled with greeting cards she never sent.
I used to look through the box all the time.
I now realize they were get well cards!
So today I opened up the box of get well cards and sent them all to me!
Do excuse my absence as I get well quickly!

Oh I'm so sorry, that instead of frolicing over the weekend, you got a bit sick. But I know you'll take lots of TLC of yourself. You are too smart, not to do so.
Rest. Read your sweet cards. Let your body do what it knows how to do... Ridding itself, of what ails you.
Gentle hugs,
Mari-Nanci
So sorry! But what a pleasure to see the darling cards. They make me feel better and I was fine. Take care, Sherry!
Dear Mari-Nanci,
Thank you! I did do a wee bit of frolicing until the fever was too high. I actually had to go to bed very early last night.
I am taking very good care of me today...reading and such.
Thanks for the hugs,
Sherry
Oh Sherry, Do take care of yourself. Don't rush back into your routine. This flu that is going around is really rough.
Dear Sherry, you are excused :-) Take good care of yourself and we will see you when you are well again!
Sherry....So sorry that you are unwell. Sending you special thoughts across the miles. Rest and look after yourself.
The cards are exquisite, so old fashioned. I absolutely love them.
Dear Sherry, I do hope you are feeling even better, by this afternoon. I have a little present for you. :-) The link to a lovely photo site, which has lots about bees!
The name is the Bee Foto Blog. I hope you'll enjoy looking around there, when you feel like it.
I wish I'd remembered to do this sooner. What is the matter with me? ,-) But I finally did, and I just made a comment there... telling this nice man, that I was going to send you over.
If you scroll around on his blog, you'll find lovely photos and much information... on bees.
Keep getting well...
Mari-Nanci
Hope you're feeling better very soon, Sherry!

Hope you are feeling better soon! It isn't good being under the weather!
Dear Sue,
I have enjoyed these little cards all my life. When I wanted to do a post on not feeling well I thought of the cards. Glad you enjoyed them too. They are fun.
I am much better this morning.
Thanks for well wishes,
Sherry
Dear Lisa,
I am trying to take it easy!
Not too much going on anyway.
I lost my routine a couple of years ago when the camera came into my life! LOL!
I feel better today. The fever is gone I think. The rain will keep me inside for a few days too.
I have my new Bee Book to read!
Sherry
Dear Chris,
I have Almanac to do!
It takes lots of energy for me to do it every week and I just did not have it in me yesterday!
Hopefully today I will be able to write my story board up and record.
Thanks for your smiles.
Sherry
Dear Cheryl,
Thank you, I feel much better today!
I have been around these cards all of my life! I posted one from the 1940's, one from the 1950's and two from the 1960's! I like seeing the changes in style.
I like old things.
Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci,
Thank you for the link. It was very kind of you to think of me. I did have lots of fun reading and looking at his pictures. I am currently looking for a bee id book.
There are lots of different types of bees.
Learning aboput the bees is very fun.
Sherry, soon to be a bee keeper
Dear Pat,
Thank you!
I seldom get sick! The fever was what made me go to bed! I am much better today just a strange bug of some soprt I guess.
I see lots more rain is headed your way. I am having rain showers as I write.
April showers can be good as long as they don't get carried away!
There is a big push in Kansas City to put in rain gardens. I am not sure I have a place for one. I live at the top of the hill! I do like the idea of it!
Sherry
Dear Cathy,
Hope to get Almanac up this afternoon. I do not like falling behind! LOL!
Sherry
Dear Tom,
Thanks!
Hope you also stay well. So strange for me to ever get sick. I think the worst of this virus is over.
Sherry
What a lovely collection of cards. Your Mum sounds like a lovely lady to keep cards to send when others weren't feeling well. Looking through them will make you feel better!
Dear Deb,
The old cards were fun to look at again.
My Mum was a funny lady. I think these were left over cards she just saved.
I am saving them too! LOL!
Some are over 50 years old! Like me.
Sherry
