Dear Lisa, Thank you! I think I have the only May pole on the block...maybe even in the city! I think it is very pretty. None of my neighbors have ever mentioned it. They do think I am different. LOL! May baskets and May wine coming right up! Oh, Lisa!! How exciting. The Baltimore Orioles are beautiful. I enjoy listening to the morning chorus and hearing their song. I bet he will find your jelly and be very grateful! He will come back too and bring the family. They also love sliced oranges. I fix a nectar for them too. It is 1/3 cup sugar to 2 cups water. I bet you also will see an Orchard Oriole. They are so lovely.... Oh Lisa I am so happy for your gardens and you! Happy May! Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci, May 1st is our last danger of frost date. I shall begin the complte flower bed clean up and the sowing of the seeds. Happy, happy to be in May. I even have some vitality; always enthusiasm! Hope your May Day is filled with bird songs and sunshine. Sherry

Happy May Day to you too Sherry. The May Pole looks so cheerful. I am sure your neighbors enjoy seeing it.
We have an Baltimore Oriole singing in the back garden this a.m. I set out a dollop of grape jelly for it. I hope he finds it.
