Happy Birthday

The Pines are candling.
They send 30 million wishes.
Enough to fill a wish box.

The Birthday birds of Corner stopped in to say,
"Happy Birthday to you.
Today is your day of all days.
Today you are you.

There is much fun to be had today!
Much celebrating!
There is cake to eat and presents to open.

There is sweet nectar to sip!

There are birthday songs to sing.

Today we say "thank you for being in our lives."
Today we honor you.

From my camera and my heart,
Happy 30th Dave!

Dear Lynne,
Dave is a wonderful man. I had hoped to be able to spend his 30th with him but it did not work out.
Hope he smiled too!

Happy Birthday to Dave.
How lovely your birds are. There always seem to be new ones, I have never seen before!

Dear Meggie,
I think my son-in-love had a great day!
I have any where from 30-40 different species in the yard in any given month. About half are year round the rest are migrating. Sometimes, like the Grosbeaks, some of the birds will stop in for a week or two before heading on. I enjoy seeing the different birds. I try and keep tract of when they come in every year. Soon I will have babies coming to the feeders!

Dear Cheryl,
I talked with my daughter this afternoon. She said Dave had a great birthday!
It would have been fun to share in the birthday cake. Maybe next year I can travel to be with him on his special day.

Dear Lisda,
He is a cute one too!
I enjoy his company and his conversation.
It is wonderful when we can enjoy our children's mates.
