Helloo from Alaska! My name is Vikki; and am originally from the southwest. The winters here can last from six to nine months here; but seemingly LONGER. I just want to say that your beautiful photos have truly salvaged my sanity, and gave me hope for spring. Thank you.
Dear Mary, It's May! It's May! That lusty month of May. These ladies are so pretty. I hope orange birds come soon. You are doing your part. Sending orange birds! LOL Sherry
Dear Vikki, Hello! Welcome. So glad to know the birds and bees here in the Mid-west are giving you hope! Spring will come to you soon. I am looking forward to visiting you and learning about Alsaka. I hope you have pictures of the Northern Lights! Bird songs and butterfly wings, Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci, The sirens did go off for about thirty minutes last night. A few tornadoes were spotted. I had a little bit of wind damage. The May pole stood just fine and we had 60 mph winds! May does mean the start of tornado season. It was dramatic. Sherry
Dear Lisa, I have two Mandevilla vines growing in pots on the deck. The wind torn one of the vines up pretty badly. I am going to try taping it together. I shall pop over and see how you are doing. Wicked winds.... During the night I woke to the howling and the thrashing... Hope you are okay too. Sherry
Dear Cheryl, The Dogwood is in full bloom. I was hoping a few birds would come for photos. I was very happy when this Oriole came in. Was a gift I wanted to share. Glad you also enjoyed these pictures. Sherry
Dear Mel, I am lucky they remember to come to my little backyard every year. A nice group are hear now, about 15 Orioles! In the Dogwood was very nice of this female! Sherry, who loves the birds of the tropics!
