Tufted Titmouse has returned!
My bird book says they are year round
residents in my area,
yet I do not see them in the winter.
Watching them be successful at the feeders
means they just might stay around.
I hope so!

I am so excited the female bees are out! Now they will lay eggs in your bee boxes and the process will start all over again. This is very wonderful. Thank you for showing the Mason bees, they are charming.

Great shots of the Titmice, Sherry. What a difference a couple of hundred miles south makes. We have them year round, but more in the winter. Orioles we may see once a year -- briefly.

I bet you have all sorts of different birds and bugs and blooms than I do. Your growing season is longer too I bet.
The Peony may not grow too much farther south than where I am.
