Dear Deb, The Orioles were wanting me up! I accidently had slept in and the orioles were hungry. At first They were crowed in the Dogwood chripping and knockintg on the window. Once I raised the blinds they moved to the deck... They know where the jelly is kept. LOL Sherry
Dear Lisa, Many of the birds have different ways of getting my attention. The Orioles gang up and tap and call and do what ever they can until they see me! They are funny. No one touched it??? I see so many different birds on the jelly. Maybe your birds have not seen the Orioles getting their jellies so they do not know how tasty it is. I do think the birds learn from each other. Dear Tom, I usually am up before the birds and I have already refilled the jelly bowls, seed feeders and nuts. I am happy the Orioles are comfortable enough now that they will come get me. They are as much a part of Spring as the tulips. I do enjoy them. Sherry
Dear Cathy, They do tap on the windows!! The Orioles tap for jelly, the Cardinals for seed the Mockingbird and the Robins for rasins and the Woodpeckers tap for nuts... If the bird baths become too low for proper bathing one of the birds will get me... I try to stay on top of all their needs. I was so tickeled by the Orioles. They are fun. I have lots of jelly too so no worries about running out. Sherry

How adorable! Looks like Robin knows who makes his breakfast so tasty :-}
Oh for goodness sake. I have never seen an Oriole looking into a house before. What a hoot.
I set out some grape jelly and no one touched it.
I would think seeing this each morning would get me out of bed each morning! Great post my friend!
Adorable. I love it. They are on to you, Sherry!
Too cute! So what is next?, tapping on your windows?
