Mason Bee!

Every day I check the bee box
to see if a female Mason Bee has found it.

This morning I was so happy to see
a Mason Bee bottom!

She has been working all morning
laying her eggs in her nest hole.

I am so excited!
I will care for her bee eggs.

Sharing with you is exciting too.
This is my 1,500 post.
Not all of them have been about bees.

Dear Cheryl,
I am very, very pleased!
My heart just leapt when I saw that little bee bottom!
She is so cute...
Thank you for introducing me to the Mason Bees and to the bee box.
I have been very patient. I am not one to give up but I often give over.
Thank you again...

Dear Mary,
Thank you for sharing in the excitment of the Mason Bees!! She is a sweetie!
My husband was happy too. I so wanted to call everyone I know to come over and see this darling bee. Unfortunately, all the friends I have that are bee people live far, far away!
Sharing here on Corner, my 1500 post, was just as wonderful as having a flock of folk come to the bee box!
On line bee box viewing is fun and so easy...
I would love to have a glass bee box so I could watch as she lays her eggs and provides food. I could do a video! That would be fun to make and watch. "The Flight of the Bumblebee" would be very good background music!
I also would love to have a microscope. When I was in school the microscope was my favorite ...I could look under a microscope for hours. I always wanted to be able to take pictures too. LOL...
So much to learn and see.
Thank you for learning and watching with me.
Happy June!
Sherry

Happy 1,500th posts! May there be at least 1,500 more! I caught the excitement you experienced seeing the Mason bee after much anticipation. I understand how these happenings can "make one's day". I saw a male and female cardinal in my yard yesterday-a special happening here!
Blessings on your second day of June. . .carol

WOW Sherry, 1500 posts. Congrats. It is very appropriate that you have your first bee in the bee maternity ward for your 1500th posting. May you have many more posts like this bee will have many more beebies.

Dear Carol,
Thank you!
Seeing the little Mason's bee bottom was thrilling!
I have watched now as three Masons have found the box. It is so exciting to see the holes fill up.
I cannot have hives in the city but I can have bee boxes.
I am so happy you enjoy the posts. Perhaps life will continue to excite me and I will be inspired for another 1500 posts...
Thank you for your support and your friendship.
