I serve the seedless red variety.
They like the grapes so very much
they will come up on to the deck.
Today we had 6 Baltimore Orioles.
watched the Orioles.
The birds learn from each other.

What beautiful bird photos! I used to work at a wild bird store and my favorite thing was learning about the birds so that I could educate customers. Especially the orioles!
Wow! What absolutely beautiful pics you have!! Your birds pose for you!! I think I will try "serving" red seedless grapes and see if I get some orioles!
We don't have orioles here, they are so brightly colored.
Hola Sherry,
No Orioles in Lima, not that I know of at least.
I love the pic of the Cardinal eating that grape!
Besos,
Mel
We set oranges out for the orioles and not only do they love them, so do the chipmunks and catbirds!
Hmmm, now we'll have to try grapes and see who stops by for dinner!
Your photos are so very beautiful!
Ours aren't here yet. Glad to know about the grapes. I usually feed oranges.
Oh WOW, Sherry, these photos are fabulous!! What kind of camera do you use?
How kind you are to provide grapes for the Orioles, or any other birds! I hope they don't invade the vineyards, looking for treats!
what great close-ups of the orioles...so glad they come up to the deck so you can get these amazing shots.
Beautiful photos! The cardinal picture is amazing!
Dear Taiya,
The birds are so beautiful.
The Orioles are comfortable coming and going now. I look forward to Spring migration and the return of the Orioles.
Sherry
Dear Wendy,
I was sitting and reading when the Orioles first came for grapes. I love being so near to them.
They also like orange halves!
Sherry
Dear Keewee,
The Orioles are bright! I just love them.
Sherry
Sherry, I am just blown away with that last photo of the cardinal at the grapes!!
And you have peonies already!! The ones nearest the house here are starting to show the tiniest bit of colour, but the first lily of the valley bloomed today (and was immediately plucked for its trouble!). And the lilacs are almost out, too!
Brilliant photos!
