How amazing, her camouflage was wonderful and the butterfly on your previous post was just beautiful, thank you for sharing these lovely creatures with us :)
Nice find and wonderful photo! Yours in much greener than the browner ones I have seen. If I'm right they do not fly during the day and you could have picked it up to place it for a better background.
What an interesting creature; I've only seen pictures of her before.
I so enjoyed your swallowtail yesterday, Sherry; how sweet of her to stand still for your camera. Butterflies have been few in number around here this year. Have you noticed this in your area as well?
Dear Sherry....she is beautiful and she hides well.... I am sure she will visit often now she has found you...... It is such fun to have a new visitor.....

Yes, she is gorgeous! I enjoyed your other posts, too. The swallowtail ones are awesome!
She is very beautiful - what unimaginative person thought of the word Hog to go alongside Sphinx!
Hi Sherry!!!!!!!!! How are YOU??? I had one of these on my front porch last year and they are the most amazing things.
I think Pandora Sphinx sounds SO much better than "hog" moth. Check it out: http://bugguide.net/node/view/3937
What a beautiful creature! How cool to find it in your garden! :0)
What a great find!!! I seem to learn about a new creature every time I visit your blog.
Whoa! What a perfect example of camoflauge. A beautiful colour of green on a side note.
BEAUTIFUL!!

She's beautiful! Looks a very similar shape and pattern to our Poplar Hawk Moth, but so much greener! The Poplar Hawk Moth is brown in various shades.
