Sunday Safari

The garden is full of birds.

The American Robin protects his berries.
He sits in the crab tree all day long.

When Mockingbird comes the Robin chases him away.

The Carolina Wren likes peanuts.

So does the Tufted Titmouse.

It is warmer today so I sat outside with the birds for awhile.
I photograph the Cardinals most often.
There are many of them.

I was amazed to see green rose leaves.
We have had many bitterly cold days and nights.
Once again I am reading my Naturalist book.
Other books had been stacked on top of it.
It is nice reading about my favorite hobby.
I do miss the bugs.

My Christmas decorations remind me of Spring.

The Christmas roses are opening.

They fill the house with their aroma.

I love opening the door to my Christmas.
May you and yours have the Happiest of Holidays.
Happy Sunday Safari.

Happy holidays to you, too! We enjoyed a trip to the coast yesterday and got to see an eagle soaring. We were in awe! Love the photos of your birds! Enjoy your week!

I love the bird photos! I hope to get more kinds of birds than the house sparrows we have. Our doves are still around, and I've seen blue jays and a red bellied woodpecker.

Dear Sherry......your door is beautifully decorated.....I love the dragonfly. I would know a kindred spirit lived within should I walk by.
Your reading is very similar to mine. I have books stacked by the side of my armchair.

The birds photographs are wonderful. I do envy the fact you manage to get pictures of them. I had redwing and fieldfare in my gardens yesterday feasting on berries. So disappointed that I did not get any photographs. Little Robin and Blue Boy are always around though.

We have had more snow overnight. It is way too cold for my area. The lanes are covered in ice and snow. My daughter and I sould be taking Poppi and Riley to the O2 for a theatre production of Peter Pan. I am a little concerned about driving conditions as they do not clear minor roads in UK.

Thank you for another year of safari....it has been a joy to work with you.....you are an inspiration to me.
May your Christmas be filled with joy and hope......thinking of you and your sister......
