Thank You for your good wishes Q! Your photos are such a gift. The hummingbird and red flower are spectacular. Happy May.
I love the hummingbird! His throat echoes the colour of the geranium!Thank you for recommending Diane Ackerman - I got her book, Cultivating Delight, from the library, and I am sipping at it! Too heady to read it quickly!
oh my, your world is gorgeous and full of new life. So refreshing is you post. Thank you~
Dear Sherry....the hummingbird and geranium are lovely. They compliment each other perfectly.Your gardens are so advanced.....has the weather been very warm?I remember the May pole from last year.....it stayed with me all that time. Just so pretty in your gardens....Happy Sunday morning Sherry....hope you slept well
Isn't life beautiful?Love and admire every picture,Gisela
Sherry,Loved the grosbeak shot. When I see them they are way up in the trees.
Happy May Day to you too. We also had a Rosebreasted Grosbeak in our garden yesterday. Fun fun. Beautiful photos all...
I agree with Barb, Sherry - you indeed have a gift! Who will dance around the May Pole? I can remember that tradition - since I went to a girls' school, it seemed like a natural thing to dance around the pole, braiding the ribbons! May is a happy month - "the happy month of May."
Oh my, a hummingbird already! I must set out the feeders. A belated Happy May Day to you, too, Sherry!
Happy May Day to you. Nice to see a hummingbird so early.
What glorious images of spring! I especially like the one of the Hoverfly on the Chamomile. They are such beautiful insects.
