After October I will cook all of our pumpkins. I will roast the seed. We will have pumpkin soup and pumpkin muffins.
One little pie pumpkin will be for Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Sampler
I have tried many years to grow the Rouge Vif d'Etampes. We call them Cinderella Pumpkins. Squash bugs get mine every year. Now I buy. 
I like having the different varieties for decoration and eating.
After October I will cook all of our pumpkins. I will roast the seed. We will have pumpkin soup and pumpkin muffins.

I too called my son, "Pumpkin" when he was a little boy! Still do sometimes. He doesn't seem to mind much as long as it is not in public!
Names of endearment are so special. I called our daughter "Susiums". Still do!
