Mid-afternoon

The clouds blew over and the sun came out. The moon was in the eastern sky.
I took a walk down our side street to see if the neighborhood kids had built a snowman. It had warmed to 40 degrees. With the sun it felt like 50!
I swept the deck under the watchful gaze of Mrs. Cardinal, Carolina Chick-a-dee, the Carolina Wrens and Mockingbird. They were waiting for fresh seed.
Mocking Bird wanted raisins!
