Sunset

My husband and I worked all afternoon cleaning flowerbeds.
We have three finished, twenty-seven to go!
At sunset I was tired. I sat down in the steamer chair on the deck.
Mr. Cardinal came and sang his evening song.
Spring is my new favorite season.

    30 flower beds in total? Oh my, that sounds like lots of work! Well, I hope you enjoy gardening as much as I do..... ;-))

    Hi Anita,
    Oh yes I love gardening!
    Actually we have more than 30 different growing spots. I did not include the vegetable garden.
    I like to be outside as much as possible. I do get very tired and dirty. The joy of fresh flowers for the house and fresh vegetables for the table makes the work worth while. I also like the butterflies and the food for the birds.
    I like it all!
