  1. BEAUTIFUL- bugs/birds/butterflies. You have the most amazing spiders! One in particular looked like a painted stone. Gorgeous! I enjoyed "Moody October" this morning.

  2. Sherry very calming watching Nature's
    special gifts!
The spider with the yellow markings made his way into my camera lens just before I went off to Europe!

    Tranquil I'd say.
Sets the tone of the day.

    Birds too.

  8. This music suits me tonight. It is a little sad thinking about how it won't be long until the bugs are all bedded down for the winter. Love the spider shots. Of course all of your photos are great.

  9. Dear Deb,
Thank you. Our music is a cut from the soundtrack, "Diabolique". Randy Edelman is the composer and conductor. This piece, "Mia", is a nice background for the ups and downs of October.

  10. Dear Anna,
Spiders are fantastic creatures. I am learning a little bit about them and their spinnets and silk.
I know the yellow and black spider as an Orb Weaver, a garden spider.
The gardens are full of many different spiders and webs. All are beautiful.

  11. Dear Mary,
So glad you are taking some relaxing time....I will take a picture of a window just for you!!
When you are at work know you can pop over and see out of my window.
When the bugs are gone I guess I will just go shopping!
    Thank you!

  12. Dear Sue,
I am missing reading your poetry! Seems as if every morning I go out and feed the birds and one thing leads to another and zip, zap, zip it is time for bed!
I shall take an afternoon next week and drink up all the poems of yours I have missed...it will be heavenly..
Thank you Sue for coming every week and supporting Friday's Slide Show. They are fun to do!

  13. Dear Mimi,
Thanks. My husband picked it out.
Using a cut off of a soundtrack was different. This Sharon Stone movie was a thiller!
    Scary stuff...

  18. Dear Lisa,
It is a bit sad...I will miss the bugs once the frost comes. Until that time I am trying to be outside as much as possible. I just love watching the bees buzz about.
Thank you Lisa for your friendship.
