Those are fantastic images! Do you use a telephoto lens?
I used to love watching robins hunt for worms as a kid.
Hi Nelumbo,
I took these photos through the window in my home office. I used a Nikon D50 with a 200x zoom lens.
Most of the photos of the birds in winter are taken through my windows!
Having Robins in the yard, in December, is unusual for me. I normally think of the Robins as the sign of spring.
I also enjoy watching them get worms in the spring and summer.
Maybe I will see a butterfly yet this month!
