A bee and a butterfly

The flowers of the Creeping Phlox are tiny.

The Honey Bee is well suited.
The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail seems huge as she feeds.
Both bugs are beautiful.

My day is full of bees, birds and butterflies.

So how close did you need to get to that honey bee?

Wonderful! I'm learning about butterflies from you, Sherry!

Hi Mary,
I guess I was about 18 inches away from the bee and I zoomed in!
I have had lots of butterflies come to the gardens lately but very little food for them. Hopefully after the seeds have a chance to sprout and bloom we will have more butterflies.
