Birds and Bees

The wind is strong out of the northwest.
A cold front is moving in.
The Dogwood is hanging on to its blooms.
The Purple Finches show up nicely in its branches.
Mr. Bumbles was blown about a bit.
He trusts me now and I him.
The Grape Hyacinths have peaked.
The Robins easily found worms after the morning showers.
The Chripping Sparrows have returned.
The Juncos have gone on north.
Frost is in the forecast for tonight.

Your flowers are positively bursting out everywhere. The birds and the bees are celebrating spring right along with you..!
Mr Bumbles is so handsome.
(erm...are we sure it's MR and not MRS Bumbles..?)

Thank you for stopping by the back porch. Hope to see you often.

What happened to our beautiful spring weather!?! Sort of chilly, this morning!

Oh dear, I hope the frost hasn't caused too much damage to your beautiful flowers. It's always a fear here that we will get caught out by a sudden drop in temperature. Beautiful pics again :-)

Hi Sheila,
Spring came galloping in this year.
Monday, April 2nd, the high at my house was 84 degrees! Than the cold front came in. The last two nights it has been 25 degrees!
It is a roller coaster spring.
LOL!! I like to think Mr. Bumbles.

Hi Pat,
Back Porch is a lovely spot.
Silly spring for sure!
I was out today with long underwear on!
My friend in western Kansas called today. They are in full spring bloom with snow!
April is sometimes like this, up and down and down and up!

Hi Chris,
The tulips are struggling as are the bleeding hearts. The hard freeze is suppose to come again tonight. I do not know how long the blooms can tolerate the cold.
There is nothing to be done.
I did put out more seed and fresh unfrozen water for the birds.
The peonies are in bud. They could recoup. We will just have to wait and see.
I brought out the pink leg warmers today. I do not like being cold!
