Out of sync

I wanted a photo of the rain gauge.

Something for the almanac.

This week we had 1.29 inches of rain.
Should help the plants rebound.

I am out of sync,
Out of rhythm.

Stop, play, pause, rewind.
Hot, cold, wet, dry.
Record.
Rumi,
take me on your mystical flight.
A Whirling Dervish.
a dawn's delight.

You are so lucky to have birds 'invade' so many photo shots. :-)

Dear Mari-Nanci,
April has been a real smile and sigh at my house. The birds are keeping me going.
They are so pretty and funny. Mocking bird just could not get the rain guage photo shoot right. Finally I had to go inside I was cold!!!
Hopefully May will be a more normal month. I do not have any idea where I am as far as season goes. Most of the gardens look like November!
The grass is green!
Lots and lots of birds!!!
Maybe I will wake up tomorrow and all will be just fine.

Great photos as always.
I love Rumi's words, and have often found what I need to go with a photo, by looking at what he has written.

I hope that you're soon able to resume your natural rhythm. I know it's been a challenging season for so many and it must be absolutely heartbreaking for avid gardeners and farmers in so many areas.

I hope many days of warm sunshine and gentle rains are in the immediate forcast, both for the earth and for your spirit.

Take care.

Dear Sheila,
Rumi is very cool. Whenever I get really confused I turn to his writings. April has been up and down and round and round. I thought of the Dervish whriling and the calmness they would experience. I am hoping May will be a normal May.
Once I can plant, sow seeds, see vegetables growing and have flowers for the tables I think I will be fine.
Hummingbird sighting this morning was very reassuring.

Dear Mary,
Thank you!
Everytime I see another sign that the plants are okay my spirits rise. I just did not know how the plants were going to pull through. Even my indoor plants suffered!
All seems much better this evening after our nice rains.
I appriciate your kind words.
Thank you again,
Sherry
