I listened to this at 5:45 a.m. What a great way to start a day! Your daughter will love this, Sherry.

Hi Mary,
When our daughter lived in Colorado she would often see the Pelicans. She called them "Pellies". Last weekend while watching the Pelicans I kept thinking of my daughter and how much she would enjoy watching these magnificent birds. Last night when I began working on this week's slide show I kept going back to the Pelican photos. I do not know if my daughter gets to see the "Pellies" in Portland or not. If not she can watch them here! We get to watch too!
Have a super weekend!

Dear Deb,
Thank you! I would like to keep the slide shows interesting. I have ideas but I need Mother Nature to provide the opportunity for the photos. The Pelicans were so lovely to watch. I think my daughter will enjoy seeing them.
Thank you for looking forward to slide shows. Thank you for your support in my creative effort.
I could do two or three a week if I had the right photos! They are fun to put together.

Dear Sue,
LOL! I really took to the slide shows! I could do an entire blog of just slide shows.
The background music is Claude Bolling and Jean-Pierre Rampal "Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio". Claude Bolling is my favorite musician. He lives in France and is getting on in years.
I may never see him play but I love everything I have ever heard him perform.
We will see what I come up with for next week. I have an idea for a Halloween slide show. Now if only I can take the photos!

Sherry,

I so enjoy your slide shows. I bet your daughter adores this one!

I would love very much if you did more slide shows each week. This would be a wonderful way to make winter more fun. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the photos I have not seen, as well as remembering the ones I have seen.

Nice work!

Love,

Dear Naturegirl,
My daughter has a lovely nest in Portland. I enjoy visiting her and my son-in-love! She teaches me all the time about different birds and animals. She loves the Alpaca, the Sparrows, the Pellies! She is a kind and gracious lady. She is a poet. She is beautiful in every way!
It is interesting how each of us finds our passion. I have always been a plant, butterfly and bird person. When I began photography it was because the digital format and optics matched up!
Being able to take photos of what I see is amazing to me. Having this easy and fun way to share what I see is also amazing. My daughter helped me set up Corner. She encourages me all the time. If I mess up something she will fix it! She took off one of the extra moon phase calendars I had on Walking In Beauty. She added one here on Corner. She works too many hours yet always has time for me and my pictures. She compliments me and has real feedback!
I have grown older and my children have left the nest. They have built their own gracious lives. Sometimes I will post a few photos I think they will enjoy. Sometimes I will share a coming or a going from here, their childhood home.
I have been given the chance to express my love of flora and fauna. Thank you, Naturegirl, for sharing this love with me. The roses are still blooming in my gardens and in my neighborhood. When I see them I think of you.
I send you blessings.

Dear Nita,
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed this! It is a short video, the music was a short piece. I like having short ones sometimes. Just a break from the hussle and worries. I hope you had a moment of relaxation and a smile of joy.

Dear Sprite,
Thank you!
I might do a slide show blog. That way if someone wants to take a break from what is going on in their world they could. Like you said it would be a nice way to share more photos. I have thousands I have yet to share.
I have set aside a few projects for this winter. Also I plan on being outside with the birds. There will be days I will be working with photos and maybe I can put together a few slide shows and post a group of them. The blogs are an excellent way for an artist to share.
Thank you for your encouragement.

o, mommy. what a nice nice thing. i feel glad. your slideshow is three minutes of long-distance hug.

also: PELLIES!!!!!

Dear Chris,
Thank you. They really are very fun to put together. I have this idea that I could have a theme for each week. I might start this in January. It would be fun to do my whole week investigating one word. I could find my word in nature like I do already and do music and art that goes with my word. I have a word I work with each month but once a week would be better.
As you can tell I am thinking about Winter!

Dear Jayne,
Thank you. I debated on the music this week. I was looking for something Halloweeny but never found the right piece for my photos.
Maybe next week!
