What a fun uplifting kick-off to the weekend. Love the birdies in the snow. Don't you just love brown creepers?? They look like such delicate birds. We have one that comes around during winter that likes the suet cakes.

Good Morning Lisa,
The day after Thanksgiving and who can tell what marvels await us?
I am so excited to see Brown Creeper! I have never seen him so close. MAybe he will come to my suet cakes this winter. That would be divine.
Dave Grisman did this quick paced "Anything Goes" on his cd Tone Poems 2. November's weather can be so unpredictable.
On Saturday a big college football game is being hosted in Kansas City. The Missouri Tigers are playing the Kansas Jayhawks. This is a huge rivalry. Our city is all "a-twitter".
Lots of fun.

Good Morning Deb,
LOL! I thought some lively music would get us going this morning.
I am so happy you look forward to Slide Show Friday. I hope they are as much fun for you to watch as they are for me to create.

Good Morning Chris,
At your house it is almost evening.
Maybe your weekend chores will go quickly and you can spend some time outside with the birds.
I hope so.
It is bitterly cold at my house. I am hoping for a warm up.
Almost full moon..anything does go.

Dear Lynne,
So glad you you enjoyed it!
I thought a bit of up beat music would warm me up! Brr...it is cold at my house.
Hope you are staying warm.

Cardinal color against snow white is gorgeous and the music is a reminder that 'anything goes' - another lovely clip -!

Birdies in the snow - so grand. Great show, Sherry!

Our temps dropped almost 20 degrees overnight - from A/C to heat! Brrrrr. Snow in the mountains, an hour away. Never here.

Dear Sue,
It is winter now at my house. A few weeks early I think. I am watching a snow shower this morning. Very pretty. Some of this could stick too as it has been so very cold. More Cardinals are coming to the deck each day. Last night I counted 12. I do love the way they look with the snow and the evergreens. We will see who comes to the deck and the feeders this winter. Seeing the Brown Creeper was a Thanksgiving Day delight.
I am thinking about the songs for December. I would like to try to make some creative 'soundtracks' for the slide shows.

Dear Mary,
Big temperature drop here too. No snow? Maybe winter rain! Rain would be so very excellent for you. I am watching it snow right now. It is pretty as long as I am inside all snug and warm.
It does put me in the decorating mood. Time to clean and get ready for the next Holiday.

Dear Nita,
Thank you. I need to get my boots out. I want to go walking in the winter wonderland! The camera will need some sort of snow protection too.
Hummm..I wonder what the professionals use?
Enjoy your weekend.

Dear Mon@rch,
Thank you. Until warmer weather I will be taking pictures of the birds. I think I need to get a couple more feeders. I have more winter birds this year than ever before.
I will need more heaters for the bird baths too. The birds rule this roost until butterfly days return.
