Thanksgiving Eve

I am baking cinnamon rolls
for my husband on this Thanksgiving Eve.
The cold rain began during the night.
It is suppose to change to snow this afternoon.

I have my music on as I work in the kitchen.
I had filled the seed trays early this morning.

I heard a Cardinal chirping away.
Perhaps there was trouble out on the deck.
The female Cardinal was sitting on my chair looking into the house.
The seed trays were empty.

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving Day, Sherry :-) Will your husband have to go to work or have the day at home with you?

Dear Lisa,
The birds do let me know when they need more seed and water! My husband loves my cinnamon rolls. I only bake them a couple of times each year.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Lovingly,
Sherry

Dear Sue,
This female Cardinal is one of my bird friends. She trusts me as does her mate. I take her picture often! Tomorrow I have a few special treats for the birds. Today they will have to be happy with regular fare. The weather brought out so many birds that the seed trays were empty in just a few hours. I can tell this winter I will need to refill the feeders and the trays a couple of times a day. Lots of birds! Lots.
Happy Thanksgiving,
~Sherry~

Dear Chris,
Thank you! Yes, my husband will be home for the day. It will be just the two of us and the birds. Since it has turned so cold I do not want to go into the wilds so we will stay home.
I will fix a lunch of sweet potatoes, asparagus and a green salad. He will eat cinnamon rolls for breakfast and pumpkin pie for supper! I will have my pumpkin seeds and raisons, just like the birds.

Dear Deb,
Thank you. I enjoy the smells of baking. Cinnamon rolls are delightful. The smell of bread baking and the smeel of sweet all at once! I was playing the Native Flute music too which I like to think the birds like to listen to while they come and go.

Dear Mary,
The birds do talk with me!
Usually they want more food and more water. This little female is one of my favorite birds. I seem to have many favorites.
My husband says the wild life in the yard just has their way with me. He is right.
May the birds sing sweet songs to you,
Sherry
