Whistle While You Work

I often whistle while I work. My present boss was a bit taken aback about that when I first started working for her. She decided that it was ok becasue it reminded her of her grandfather.

I love the photos of the bird tracks in the frost/light snow.

Was the heart cloud in the last photo computer generated? Nice any way.

Have a great weekend.

Dear Lisa,
I cannot actually whistle. I have tried to learn so many different times but it never happens. My husband whistles. I love hearing him go about his work and whistle.
I do listen to music while I do my work. I really like this cd. John Arpin plays many of the fun songs from different Disney movies. This "Whistle While You Work" from Snow White, is an uplifting rendition.
The cloud was one I saw coming towards my house this week. I do not know how to do the computer generated things. I am lucky to be able to download the photos I take!
I thought the cloud looked like an angel. It also looks like a heart. I love that about clouds. They change and each of us has a different impression.
Enjoy your weekend too. If you are decorating may it be lots of fun.

Sherry,

My computer at work has trouble with your Friday slideshows. I'll watch it at home tonight.

I like the music selection - it suits your mood of the week!

Hugs,
Mary

Thank you, Sherry :-) I saw a face in the first pic, reminded me of an old historical portrait :-) The last is a sprite or maybe a Christmas angel :-) So many birds in your garden this week and I really like the frosty footprints! Have a great weekend!

Lovely video Sherry. I envy people who can whistle, I run out of steam too quickly to carry a tune..!

Dear Mary,
The slide shows do take awhile sometimes to download! I was not sure what our slide show was going to be until I started working on it last night. My husband was outside in the cold and dark hanging our house wreaths. I could hear him whistling.
I knew "Whistle While You Work" was on the cd "Wishing Upon A Star". It is one of the many December cds we listen to. I have been very happy since being bitten by the cleaning bug. I do not whistle but I do hum.
Hope it gives you lots of decorating energy! Tomorrow I am hoping to do the kitchen.
Happy bird songs,
Sherry

Dear Sue,
Giggles and laughs! Keeps me young at heart.
Someday I will do an entire blog of just slide shows. I could use some of the thousands of photos I have never posted. I really like doing them.
I am glad you like them too. "Fantastic Friday" gave me a great laugh. It is a fantastic day.
Thanks so much for introducing me to this art form. And thank you for your support and kindenss.
Cheers,
Sherry

Dear Chris,
Oh I see a face too! It is fun to find images in the clouds and in shadows. I look for them in reflections and the way the bark is on the trees. Sometimes I see the fairies but seldom do they let me take their photo.
We will ask Sprite is our last cloud is a Sprite or not, she will know.
The birds just have their way with me! I bought them a new feeder today. It has solar lights in it. I told my husband and he thought that would be so nice, "now the birds can feed at night if them want too."
Have fun making magic at your house. It is "deck the halls" time.
The Enchanted Forest is coming to life at my house. I have 28 trees up and decorated. I think that is over half of them but I really do not remember how many trees I do, I think 50. I added a couple more this year. I promised my husband I would stop doing trees when i reached a hundred. I have a ways to go. He is going to need to build out the loft in the garage to store them all. LOL.
Have a fun weekend too.

Dear Sheila,
I can not carry a tune even when I hum! Glad you enjoyed the video.
I am taking a tree break. I enjoy comments so very much. I like to spend time with my responses too. It feels as if we are chatting. Thank you, Sheila, for coming by all year long and leaving comments. I look forward to them.
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Deb,
Here it is almost midnight and I am too excited to sleep! I fixed a cup of cocoa. A winter storm is suppose to come during the night, sleet, ice and rain. Thank goodness it will warm up tomorrow and only be rain by mid day. I will have hungry birds. With all my decorating going on I did not get out to take photos today. I will be finished decorating by Monday.
Hope your Christmas crafting is going well.
So glad you enjoyed this slide show. I bet you whistle or hum while you work too.

Dear Mary,
Thanks! These are so fun to put together. I think of you and your fun doggie stories. Any of them would be a great slide show.
Happy decorating!

Oh what FUN! This is so charming Sherry, I just LoVe it!

Definitely an Angel. I saw her too. Though, she could also be considered a sylph, an air spirit.

It's also a heart full of love, and anything else one sees. :)

The song is so happy and light, thank you.

Much Love~

Dear Sprite,
We do know how to have fun! Cleaning can be a joyful experience! I scrubbed the insides and outsides of the refrigerator and freezer yesterday! It is a delight to open up and just look in!
Thank you for letting us know that an air spirit is a Sylph. Such a beautiful word. I never know the words for all the wonderful beings that come and visit. I call them all Angels. So glad you saw her too. She was big. I had to get a smaler lens out to get her photo!
Love and blessings,
Happy December,
Happy Season of Light,
~Sherry~

No entry here, today/Saturday. I'm probably being silly but...

I noticed all the bad {snow, etc.} weather in the mid-west, in a Yahoo news blurb. So I checked your area weather, to see if you had snow and etc. Yours say that your area is under a Wind Advisory, until 6 PM CST. I do hope you have not lost power, and thus your computer use, due to wind.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
You are sweet to think of me and to check on me! Thank you. My heart feels so very warmed by your concern. I am fine. The ice and snow went north of me. I did get the wind you wrote about.
Often after I do a slide show I take a day or two off. I sometimes will post on Walking In Beauty, on the weekends, if I have something. I did this afternoon. Hope you enjoy another one of the many ways I reduce everyday stress.
Thank you again for your care.
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Mon@rch,
Thank you. I am looking into the digital video cameras. Just looking at this point. Doing my research and thinking about it. I do enjoy your videos. "Pishing" was my favorite of all!
The slide shows are fun to create.
Glad you enjoyed this one.
