It is cold.
My world is awesome.
I have reverence for nature.
I have wonder and some fear.
I walk full of care.

I recall two storms like yours, Sherry. It was very frightening but so damned beautiful.
Walk carefully!
Dear Mary, Goddess of the Endless Summer,
Please to have some sunshine!
I do not expect warm, 74 degrees, but some sun would help so much!
Ice is beautiful.
We also have had ice storms in the past. So much damage. I looked about the yard today and I only have a few limbs on the ground. I hope the little trees in front will pop back up. The pines look rather sad. I do not know what the damage is for them. I need sunshine to melt this stuff off.
You should see me outside. I must look like a strange bird! I am bundled up and penguining around.
It is not all that cold, 28 degrees, but the ice makes me cold just looking at it.
Sunshine? That will make the ice beautiful!
Sherry
Dear Sherry, I have never seen any thing like this in real life! It reminds me of Narnia in the stories. Yes, we had sunshine today, the skies are clear and now you can see the stars. It is cold outside, thank goodness for log fires :-) HG agrees your photos are fantastic. Take care.
Dear Chris,
The light has been so dim that my landscape photos are just so-so!
I hope for brighter skies tomorrow.
It does look like an Ice Palace outside. Kindof scary actually. Very unworldly.
So glad you had sunshine. It can be cold outside but the sun makes for a much warmer feel to any day.
Yes, log fires are very comforting and lovely.
I am glad you and your husband enjoy the photos. I like up close for posting. If I get some sunshine I should be able to do some nice photos of the trees in their ice outfits.
I am sitting with a space heater on at my desk. I am toasty!
Hugs,
Sherry
By all means be careful when you go out. You were really hit with all that ice.
The Cardinal looks like it is sitting in a wishbone of ice.
You know you're in trouble when your music freezes. Brrrrrr!
I just love your ice/bird photography!
Dear Lisa,
I do not venture too far. As long as I stay on the grass I am okay. The walks are very slippery.
You are so good! I thought Mr. Cardinal looked like he was sitting in a wishbone too! I am outside doing my bird management and trying to take interesting photos.
I come in to warm up, download photos and post if anything turned out. Lots of times all I do is delete. LOL!

Hi Marvin,
The ice on the wind harp did not look pretty to me! No sounds from her even when the wind came up a bit. Every time a bird lands on a branch there is all this crackling sound. It is a terrible sound too. Lots of birds so that is the music I am listening to outside. Not pretty.
I think freezing the music is somewhat dramtic but I felt rather "low".
I am soooo looking forward to sunshine!
Sherry
Hi Tom,
Thanks. I just heard this terrible storm is headed your way. I hope not. Maybe some rain could go to Mary. She needs it. You do not need any freezing rain or sleet.
I keep hearing the Nuthatches but have not seen them. I put nuts out near the rock wall today. The Carolina Wren likes the rocks and I had not seen either one of them for a couple of days. Maybe they found my peanuts before the squirrels did.

Your photographs are beautifull art!
In awe... your Frister aNNa xo
Dear Anna,
Thank you. I love being a frister with you! You are so fun even tho you are laid up for three months!
Please give your kitties my love.
I miss my kitty.
I try and be outside, regardless of the weather, so I can have my bird time. I really enjoy taking the pictures. I like it lots when the camera sees what I see.
It is cocoa time at my house.
Time to sit and look at the family Christmas tree.
Time for remembering.
Time to be grateful for friends.
I am grateful you are okay.
Blessings,
Sherry
