Totally chilled and dancing :-)

Dear Chris,
I thought the Miniature Overture from the Nutcracker would be a nice way to show all the ice!
This version is performed by the Royal Promenade Orchestra with Alfred Gehardt conducting.
I hope today more ice will melt. Snow is coming tonight and tomorrow.
Winter can be treacherous!

Sherry

Lovely holiday clip! The contrast between the blue sky and the icicles was a nifty take on the winter. Looks like your storm has moved East..? Beautiful as always!

I just love the photos of the icy trees that have the blue sky as backdrop. They are gorgeous. The Nutcracker is perfect for the last birds. I wondered if you would have a picture of a Clark's Nutcracker.

Are you buried in snow now? We might get some tomorrow. Of course I am working one of my satrudays. UGH I will hate to go out if it is snowing. I would rather stay home and watch it come down.

Have a good weekend.

Dear Sue,
My icy trees have been very pretty in the sun. We had one and half days of sun! Still some ice remains. Now 100% chance of snow for tonight. I am weary of winter and it is not even the 21st!
I do like the blue with the ice. Much prettier than gray. English has only one word to tell us gray. I see ten thousand shades of it outside right now!
Glad you enjoyed this one. They are fun to do!
Stay warm.

Dear Mary,
Oh, thank you...bow-bow...thank -you, bow-bow! (I feel like a puppy.)
I could have never done it with out the sun.
Slide shows keep me going. Always looking for that perfect photo.

Dear Lisa,
The sun did add the magic!
I would have posted with great fanfare if a Clark's Nutcracker had come to my yard! That would be very wonderful. As it is I only have a Mockingbird with ice on its head.
The snow has not begun yet. 100% chance they say. Do be careful! I do not like to drive in ice or snow. Snow can be very pretty. I like the way the birds look in snow. Whenever we have a weather event the birds come so near.
I hope to get some photos tomorrow of birds in snow.
Stay warm. Be safe.
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Nita,
Thank you. The ice was really terrible but once the sun came out it was dazzling!
I enjoyed the melting.
Slide shows are fun to do.
